Rally the Nation to defeat terrorism! – Sri Lankans in USA writes to President

Sri Lankan Patriots, an organization of Sri Lankans in the USA has sent a letter to President Mahinda Rajapakse appealing him to be dedicated for the sovereignty and protection of the Motherland.

The letter calls upon the President to take measures to investigate regarding the local and foreign organizations that directly and indirectly sustain tiger terrorism and to take necessary steps to curb their actions, not to act against the so-called ceasefire agreement which has been incapacitated and to stop the unilateral and opportunistic involvement of Norway.

The letter further states that if anyone is flexible enough to break away from terrorism and join democratic process he or she should be given that opportunity. However, the LTTE, which pursue terrorism to harm sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Motherland, should be defeated. The letter further states that Sri Lankan Nation has the determination and courage to defeat terrorism.

‘Sri Lankan Patriots’ appeal to the President to step forward to rally the whole Nation to defeat savage terrorism and states that patriotic Sri Lankans in the USA would make any sacrifice to achieve this.
